Playing Catch-Up

This is mostly for my memory and journal purposes...... But feel free to enjoy!

At the end of the school year (Mayish, I can't really remember the exact date), Rylee had a girl scout recognition night. She is a member of the Daisy troop and has LOVED it! She had a great experience and has made alot of friends.

Rylee was awarded her smock for next year with the petals she has earned already from her Kindergarten year, and her patches for cookie sales. She sold over 115 boxes (the 2nd highest in her troop)! She was so proud of herself. Thank goodness for very generous friends, family, and the co-workers Chad works with (they were the majority).

She is excited to continue with girl scouts next year.

Sophie started and finished her 2nd season of soccer this year. It went by really fast. There were a total of 6 games and of the 6, 3 she was able to play and the other 3 were rain-outs. When they had scheduled the rain-out games we were out of town already for our summer vacation. BUT she does get to play again in the fall AND she had an awesome season.

Sophie scored her very first goal! She was so thrilled. She also had 2 assist (she has no idea what that is, but we thought it was so great). We are so proud of her. She never gets tired and keeps wanting more! When they sub out for the other girls to have a turn, she turns to me and says, "Mom, when do I get to go in, I'M READY!" We love you sweet Sophie and we are so proud of your determination and hard work.
