We Love Our Friends!

A good friend of ours invited a group of us to her in-laws house this last weekend. They have over 60 acres of land and they were having a berry fest. We were so excited to go. It's about 2 hours away, so last Saturday morning we loaded the kids up and headed down there. They had a great band, berry picking, horse riding, the kids chased the chickens, they swam in the pool and hot tub, ate hot dogs, had the freedom of running around everywhere, AND her mother-in-law makes and sales her own soap! WOW! I was in heaven. All natural ingredients and they smelled divine! Of course I had to get some. Her mother-in-law is amazing! She built their chicken coop, built the "soap house", (which was a barn with only the framing up, but she totally completed it all by herself), and their swimming pool. Their home is an old school house and it's beautiful. It has stained glass windows and parts of the flooring are huge rocks that she had brought in from the sides of creeks and rivers.
It was so fun to get away and to be out in the country. To let the kids just run around where ever and enjoy the time with their friends. Thank you, Angela and Shane for the wonderful experience! We love you!
