Special Visitors

Our dear friends, the Knowltons, made there way up to Kansas a couple of weeks ago. We were so excited to have them come and play with us. The girls talked about it everyday up until the time they got here.

When we lived in Texas, Toria and Brianna were one of the girls best friends and every time we go down to visit they HAVE to spend every waking (and sleeping) hour with them.
They arrived late on a Thursday night, then on Friday, Chad took the day off and we went to see the church sights. We drove up to Adam Ondi Ahman, drove down to Liberty Jail, stopped by Mickey D's for some dinner, and then topped the day off in Independence. I think we left our house around Noon and didn't get home until around 9 pm. It was so much fun to take the time we had and show them around.

Saturday, we took the kids to Zonkers. It's on indoor Carnival type place. It has a play land, amusement park rides, and games you can play (sorta like at Chuck E Cheese). We got there around Noon, had lunch there and didn't get home until around 5:30. It was alot of fun!

Sunday we went to church, came home, had some Fajitas and they headed back down south. =( Thank you Knowltons for such a great time. You have no idea how much it meant to us to have friends come and visit. We sure miss ya'll. We'll see you again soon!

Chad and Jeff were in the batting cages for about an hour. They had alot of fun and burned a ton of energy! They were pretty tired after that.

And to top it off, the girls got their faces painted.
