Rylee--was a little hesitant at first, afraid she wouldn't remember everything she learned last year, but she did fantastic! She's almost mastered the breath stroke, is great at swimming backwards (her favorite part), and successfully jumped off the diving board TWICE on the last day! Way to go sweetie.
Sophie--was a little bit of a different story. This was her first year taking lessons and it totally showed. She would NOT put her face in the water. It was so funny. She would maybe do her chin, but nothing else. It took almost a week to finally blow bubbles. She also yelled at her teacher a couple of times letting her know that she was NOT going to do a bob under the water! We had a small talk on how we don't yell at our teacher and that she should just TRY to do a big bob. The last picture is of her doing her BOB! She was so proud of herself and we are so proud of her too. Great job Sophie......Hear she is attempting to swim to her teacher on the last day....

Well, I'll be the first to post a comment on this one....Congrats to Rylee! Next summer when we all go visit Mimi's for 4th of July Rylee will be all over the pool, diving off the diving board, and showing off how good she can swim! Good job Rylee! And I loved the story of Sophie yelling at her teacher! That's Sophie for you! She cracks me up! At lease it doesn't sound like she's yelling at everyone from putting toys in the pool..maybe she's over that?? Hopefully! But at least she was able to be so proud of herself for doing the big bob and not made at her teacher for having her do it. Congrats Sophie! :) Next in line...Charlie..he'll be the next Michael Phelps!
