Our first day there we went golfing. So fun! I've never been out with Chad on a golf course before. I will have to admit (for me), it was way more fun driving the golf cart and order drinks from the cart girl than it was actually golfing.
The first 2 nights we stayed here and had our first couples massage! Ok, it was our FIRST massage EVER. The couple's part was just an extra perk. ;)

Here is where we stayed the last 3 nights! LOVED every minute of it. So relaxing, so beautiful and so QUIET! I got 2 full books read, took lots of baths, we watched TV, slept, had breakfast in bed, rented movies, ate out, went to the movies. This list could go on. I felt like a celebrity.

Call me spoiled, but hot chocolate is ALWAYS a must for me, when I order room service. Even when it's 115 degrees outside at 9 am. ;)

On one of our fabulous vacay days, we drove down to Tombstone and saw history come to life.

Doc Holiday---my favorite
We actually missed the tour by....wait.....we didn't miss it. The last tour was at 4 pm and we showed up at 3:55 and they wouldn't let us in because they closed at 5. Sooo, we went to the gift shop and they had the exit doors from the tour, which became an enter door. I told Chad to open the door and hurry and take a picture. Yeah, we are that classy.

Then we drove around and saw the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Quite a sight. This is where all the decommissioned air force aircraft are stored. Chad spent 2 hours driving around trying to get a better look and also trying to find an entrance. He did everything he could except impersonate an officer of the military.
We even saw about 1/16 of rain fall
While we were in Arizona, we also had the privilege of visiting with some of Chad's side of the family. Aunt Louis and his cousin Scott and family. It was so fun to see them! They are great hostesses. Thank you for having us over! We miss you guys!
All in all it was a very successful, very relaxing vacation....which was much needed. Thank you to everyone who helped make it possible. LOVE YOU!
