Getting Older Means Better Gifts, Right?

Well, Chad is slowly moving up the ladder in age.  Chad turned 34 on August 13, 2011.  The kids LOVE to go pick out gifts for their daddy every year.  This year they wanted to get him a dinosaur pillow pet because we all have pillow pets (the kids gave me one the week before for my birthday), and they thought daddy should get the dinosaur one because he is the protector of our family.  Cute, right?

Well, when we got to the store, no more pillow dinosaur pillow pets.  They were devastated!  However, they went down a couple more isles and found daddy's FAVORITE THING IN THE WORLD.......

and so that's what they decided to do.

Chad died laughing!  And laughing even harder when he kept opening his gifts and each one was part of the Angry Birds series.

Then we got him some Dallas Cowboys sugar cookies.  This boy LOVES his sports, especially any sports team that comes out of Dallas.

So what better way to celebrate than to get him a ticket to WATCH the Dallas Cowboys in the Jerry Dome itself?!?!

I made up this feaux ticket for him to tell him about his gift.  He was a little confused at first, then I explained to him how my parents and I bought him a ticket to go down to Dallas to watch the Cowboys play.  Not only was he going, but he was going with one of his good friends, Brady, as well.  He was thrilled, to say the least.  He couldn't stop smiling ALL.DAY.LONG.
