Meeting Mike

While we were in Louisiana we took the kids to go see Mike the Tiger at LSU's campus. My girls were in heaven and stood there watching Mike pace back and forth the whole time. My brother-in-law, Brandon is a HUGE Ute's fan, so my dad said the only reason why Mike was pacing the whole time was because he could sense a traitor here! It was pretty funny. My dad always is giving Brandon a hard time......because for those of you who don't know Randy, he is a DIE HARD BYU fan!

After the kids had enough of Mike (which took about 45 minutes), we decided to let the kids go have some fun on the Indian mounds (Indian Mounds: 2 random hills on LSU campus that are supposedly older than the ancient pyramids. They don't know their use but apparently they are pretty important??).

Rylee made the first attempt. She LOVED it. Then Sophie finally got brave enough and tried it as well, but never made it all the way down the hill.

Then Karlee, thinking she was 7 years old again, tried rolling down the mounds. She DID make it all the way down the hill, but she ALSO felt pretty sick for the next hour or so too. =)

And here is Sophie! She finally made all the way from the top to the bottom.

And sweet Boston kept running down the hill. Here is a picture of his "prancing". It was adorable! We were all afraid he was going to land straight on his face but he never did.................until his last attempt. This is a picture of him running down the hill right before his nose dive. Sweet boy!

After the Indian Mounds, we went over to the LSU bookstore, bought a few LSU souvenirs and then after a few doctor's appointments (Charlie had yet another ear infection), we headed over to our family's FAVE OF ALL FAVE Mexican Restaurants---Ninfa's! Yumm-O.
