Look What I Can Do

Yep, Rylee has practiced long and hard, with and without her daddy by her side, and she can now ride her bike all.by.her.self.

This has been a new hobby in the making for quite a while now. In the fall, she wanted to try so badly, so Chad took her training wheels off. She was still a little sketchy with it all. Then it was winter and she forgot all about it.
When it started getting warmer out, she really wanted to ride her bike, this time with more confindence. Chad practiced with her for a couple of days, and then one day while Chad was cleaning out his car, Rylee got on her bike and kept trying it over and over and over. Then it just clicked and she was riding all by herself.

We are so proud of you Rylee! You worked so hard to achieve this goal and never gave up. What a great character trait that is. It's so fun to see you ride up and down the street with a big smile of accomplishment on your face. We love you!

And I guess while Rylee was out practicing, our older and wiser neighbors just got themselves a new bike as well. They let Chad give it a whirl. I think he enjoyed it a little too much.
